ReStory Chill Electronics Repairs System Requirements

Compare the official Windows and macOS minimums and understand the separate Intel Mac compatibility note.

Quick answer

Steam lists a Windows 10 x64 minimum with a 2-core/4-thread CPU, 4 GB RAM, GTX 750 Ti, DirectX 11, and 1 GB storage. For macOS, it lists macOS 14 or later, Apple M1, 8 GB RAM, M1 integrated graphics, and 1 GB storage. Patch 1.0.013r separately says older Intel Macs should run, but it does not provide a formal Intel minimum specification.

These values were shown on the official Steam page on August 28, 2026. They are minimum requirements, not recommended targets. Steam did not provide a separate recommended configuration, so the table does not substitute third-party estimates.

Storage is presented exactly as the store requirement: 1 GB of available space. An installation may temporarily need extra room for Steam downloads, updates, saves, or operating-system overhead, but no additional margin has been measured. The official minimum is therefore kept separate from general installation advice.

Understanding the Windows minimum

The official Windows entry names Windows 10 x64, which indicates a 64-bit operating system. It asks for a 2-core processor with four threads, 4 GB of RAM, a GTX 750 Ti, and DirectX 11. Those are compatibility fields, not a promise of a particular resolution, visual preset, or frame rate.

The CPU entry is generic rather than a list of supported models. Matching the core and thread count alone does not prove that every older processor will perform the same because clock speed, architecture, drivers, cooling, and background load can differ. No “equivalent CPU” list is provided without comparable test results.

Likewise, the GTX 750 Ti is the named minimum graphics reference. Steam does not list results for other integrated graphics, handheld computers, virtual machines, or superficially similar GPUs. Players below or near the minimum should not assume that comparable specifications guarantee the same result.

Apple Silicon and the Intel Mac wording

The macOS minimum shown on Steam is explicit: macOS 14 or later, an Apple M1 processor, 8 GB RAM, M1 integrated graphics, and 1 GB available storage. The page also notes that an Apple processor is required. Read on its own, that is an Apple Silicon minimum.

Patch 1.0.013r, published on August 21, separately says the game “should” run on older Macs using Intel processors. That patch language expands the compatibility discussion, but it does not supply a minimum Intel model, macOS version, GPU, RAM requirement, or tested device list. It also does not replace the still-saved M1 store minimum.

Both statements should be read with their different levels of detail. The Steam page provides a minimum specification; the patch note gives a developer compatibility statement without a complete hardware table. Until an official listing or reproducible test defines the Intel baseline, Intel Mac requirements remain not fully specified.

What the official specs do not answer

The official information does not include recommended specifications or a target for 1080p, 4K, 30 FPS, or 60 FPS. Third-party estimates and isolated performance reports cannot define those targets without current-version tests on named hardware.

The requirements do not confirm Linux or native console versions. Linux was false in the checked platform fields, and console controller support is not a console build. See the platform status guide for those distinctions rather than using the hardware table to infer additional editions.

Patches 1.0.009r, 1.0.011r, and 1.0.013r contain device, memory, input, and other fixes. Patch notes can help explain a known issue, but they do not establish performance on a particular computer. The requirements table therefore stays limited to official specifications.

System requirement questions

What is the minimum RAM for ReStory?

The checked official minimum is 4 GB RAM on Windows and 8 GB RAM on macOS.

Does ReStory require an Apple M1 Mac?

The checked Steam minimum lists Apple M1 and an Apple processor. Patch 1.0.013r separately says older Intel Macs should run, but no formal Intel minimum was provided.

How much storage does ReStory need?

Steam lists 1 GB of available space on both Windows and macOS. Updates and operating-system overhead may need additional working room, but no extra margin has been measured.

Can a GTX 750 Ti run ReStory?

It is the named official Windows minimum GPU. The listing does not state the expected resolution or frame rate at that minimum.

Are there official recommended specs?

No separate recommended configuration was shown on Steam as of August 28, 2026.
